Method
This site is a static build. The source of truth is a folder of plain-text Markdown files in a Git repository — replicated on every machine that has ever cloned it. The build counts the words, computes the read times, numbers the entries, and stamps this panel. No database, no CMS, no admin login to lose.
That is not a technical preference. It is the whole philosophy, applied to publishing: if the platform disappeared tomorrow, the log survives, because the log was never really on the platform.
